Brett H. Warfield, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist who is also fellowship-trained, and board certified in interventional pain management. He attended Meharry Medical College and obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree. It was here that he developed a love for helping the underserved communities. He then went on to complete his anesthesia residency and cardiac anesthesia fellowship at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University

Over the years Dr. Warfield has worked as the attending Anesthesiologist, as well as the Assistant Professor responsible for the education of medical students, residents, and student cRNAs. He has also served as Chief of Bariatric Anesthesia and worked as a community liaison to underprivileged youths. After 15+ years of private practice and academic anesthesia, Dr. Warfield recognized that there was a need in the community for quality pain management care. He left private practice and went on to complete an Interventional pain management fellowship with Texas Pain Physicians of Dallas, Texas.

His vision of providing passionate, caring, and adequate pain management to his patients and the community as well came to be in 2017. Texas Intergrative Pain Institute, Inc. opened its doors and has been serving the greater Houston and surrounding areas ever since. Dr. Warfield believes that all people regardless of background, color or creed deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. When not providing excellent care to his patients Dr. Warfield enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, traveling, shopping, cycling, and volunteering for various community events.

Dr. Warfield is an active member of the Texas Pain Society, The Houston Medical Forum, The National Medical Association, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., The American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Board Pain Medicine-Diplomate and American Board of Anesthesiology-Diplomate.
